You are standing in your BEDROOM. Before you lies your COMPUTER, as well as various other ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS and NOTES.
>Look at your bedroom
There’s barely enough room for a BED in this room. After all, the space is dedicated to far greater things. You’re utterly surrounded by COMPUTER PARTS and RADIO COMPONENTS. The computer’s light glows softly, illuminating the otherwise pitch-black room. Your WINDOW has been long-since covered.
>Look at window
Your window has not been a window for a long time now. You closed the blinds and have since covered it with STICKY NOTES. Even if you wanted to open your window, undoing all the hard work of scattering your notes wouldn’t be worth the effort.
>Look at bed
Your bed lies in the corner, completely unmade. It’s surrounded by COMPUTER COMPONENTS, with barely any room to step out from it. However, you are very well practiced.
>Look at computer components
Computers are an expensive hobby, but one critical to the modern world. Computers and the Internet have become an essential part of infrastructure for all aspects of life. However, most people don’t seem to recognize the power of it and what it taps into…but you do. It’s almost impossible to keep track of what you have connected to your PC. Shelves line the walls, covering every possible surface with CRTs and RADIO RECEIVERS. In some cases, you have simply opted to stack them atop each other in lieu of space along your walls. They hum harmoniously, various lights and displays glowing faintly in a variety of colors.
>Look at notes
You may have a cork board dedicated to pinning up various notes, drawings and important pages and newspaper clippings, but it certainly has its work cut out for it. The important papers have long since escaped its bounds, being taped to the rare empty patch of wall or on top of computer parts, radio equipment and CRTs. It’s a necessity, however, because all of these notes are important. They keep your mind focused on the truth you seek.
>Look at radio transceivers
Much like the infrastructure of the Internet, radio is an underappreciated resource people have arrogantly sought to control. Building giant towers, connecting wires and cables, all to harness invisible waves and frequencies. Radios tap into a network that reaches into an invisible world; you must reachit. You are always listening to HAM radio via an antenna placed outside your apartment. You have received complaints before, but you hardly care.
>Look at CRT monitors
Radios give the waves a voice, while televisions give them eyes. To see them wholly, you have to tap into television broadcasts too. How else do you expect to be enlightened?
>Look at computer
The monitor shines brightly, a glow of pure white serving as illumination in your otherwise completely unlit bedroom. It seems to almost beckon to you, demanding that you continue your quest to fulfill your destiny. The lock screen sits idly, requesting your ID and password in order to LOG IN.
>Log into your computer
Standing over your computer, you input your user ID and password. Your fingers fly over the keyboard, expertly typing out both flawlessly, without even the need for sight. The computer displays a brief loading screen before displaying your desktop; your tabs open before you. It’s time to continue searching.
